We took our wonderful natural Ethiopia Tega&Tula Michiti Microlot, a wonderful coffee on its own and put it in oak brandy barrels. The beans rested in the barrel for 4 weeks to let them soak with the wonderful oak-brandy aroma of the barrels.
The result is a melange of flavors - the powerful kick of the brandy-infused oak barrel that cuts through the fruity and juicy flavor of a superb Ethiopia Kaffa coffee.
Roasted light, but well developed, this coffee is a base for the craziest espresso you have ever tried. But as with any experiment, you're welcome to play with any other brewing method (cold brew anyone?).
