The farm is owned by the 3 Benaventes and though they have had the farm for over 60 years in the family, Leonel started getting involved in the farm labor about 3 years ago. Leonel is couched by his relative, Víctor Manuel Juárez, and has been improving the management every year. The results are starting to show up: Great quality and increasing productivity.
They have a late harvest due to the altitude, so the harvest season goes from the beginning of February to the end of April. They have two to three rounds of picking. The coffee is handpicked and sorted by the same workers around the area every year and the wet mill happens at the farm. The coffee is dried in their own patios.
The Coffee is dry milled at Beneficio Bella Vista.
