WORLD BREWERS CUP
The coffee maker that won the World Brewers Cup is now on kitchen counters
Emi Fukahori won the World Brewers Cup brewing with GINA. Here's her exact 3-pour recipe – and the valve that makes it work at home.
Brew the champion's recipe
THE WINNING RECIPE
The champion's 3-pour recipe
Pour 1 · valve closed · 45 s
50 g of water at 80°C
Pour 2 · valve open · 60 s
100 g of water at 95°C
Pour 3 · valve closed · 45 s
70 g of water at 80°C
Then open the valve and let the coffee flow out.
ONE VALVE
Three ways to brew. Same beans, same grinder.

1 · Open: pour-over
Leave the valve open for a crisp, clear cup that shows every note of the beans.

2 · Closed, then open: immersion
Close the valve and let coffee and water steep. Then open it for a clean finish. Like a French press, but cleaner.

3 · Slow drip: cold drip
Set the valve to a slow drip and let time extract the smoothest coffee over several hours.

Questions
Can I brew the competition recipe at home?
Yes. Any GINA can switch between steeping and flowing. GINA Smart's scale and timer make hitting the weights and times easier.
Basic or Smart?
Both brew all three ways. Smart adds a built-in precision scale and the Brewing Assistant (time and weight tracking, a ratio calculator and an auto-start timer), plus phone connectivity.
How fast does it ship?
We ship worldwide. In-stock orders typically ship within 1–3 business days.
I'm outside the EU. Anything to know?
Orders from outside the EU may be subject to import fees and taxes on arrival, which aren't included in shipping costs.
